The badge
One tap, one sentence, one tap. Everything else the badge does, it says with a light or a buzz. This is the page the printed guide is drawn from; your property's guide states the exact timings for your hotel.
Raising a request
- Tap onceOne buzz and a white light: it is listening.
- Say the room first"Room 512, two extra towels." One request per tap. It stops by itself after about twenty seconds.
- Tap again to sendA light tick means Harlow has it. If the network is out of reach, the badge keeps the request and sends it the moment it is back.
Two buzzes
Every notification buzzes the badge twice: a new task for you, a request to approve, a question for you. Open the app to see it; tapping the badge does not answer it. Nothing new in the app? It was the low-battery warning.
The lights

| Red flashing, fast, with one long buzz | The emergency alert was sent. |
| Blue flashing fast, or five amber blinks with a strong buzz | The badge needs attention. Tell your duty manager and take a spare. |
Charging
USB-C. A light tick means the cable is in. While charging the light shows the level; two buzzes means full. A full charge lasts a shift with margin; leave badges on their dock at the end of the day.
Emergency: hold
Hold the button while wearing the badge. The buzzing builds; one long, strong buzz with fast red flashing means the front desk and the managers have your alert with your name and, where the hotel uses zones, where you are. Let go earlier and nothing is sent. See Safety.
Switching off
From the app, on the Badge tab. The button never switches the badge off, so a long hold is always the emergency. Press once to switch it back on.
Find it
Lost it? On the Badge tab, tap Find: it flashes cyan and buzzes until tapped.
