Roles and what each one sees

Harlow shows each person the part of the hotel that is theirs. The server decides what every role may see and do; the app only shows it.

StaffTheir requestsTheir own requests and the ones assigned to them or their department.Raise, begin, complete, ask, hand on, decline. Connect a badge.
Front deskTheir requests, with the desk queueEvery department's requests by room on the Rooms tab, so a guest calling about 412 gets an answer.Review requests first, when the hotel has that on. Reply to guest messages.
Department managerThe Overview, for their departmentTheir department's requests, team and numbers.Everything staff can, plus reassign and the department's exports.
General managerThe Overview, whole propertyEvery department, the Floor view, Hotel settings.Service targets, routing rules, who is paged, location mode, the scheduled report.

Hotel IT is deliberately kept away from operational content: it manages accounts and systems, not requests.

One badge, many wearers

A badge is not tied to a person for life. It works under the name of whoever connected it last from their phone, until a colleague connects it. Requests are attributed by who was wearing it when the words were spoken, which is what a shift handover needs.

Who gets notified

Notifications, and the two buzzes that come with them, go to the person whose phone holds the Bluetooth link to the badge. Switching accounts on the phone takes effect immediately.
