IT checklist
The IT view tracks eleven items. Some the hotel ticks when they are done on site; the rest turn green on their own as Harlow observes them working.
| Item | Who | Turns green when |
|---|---|---|
| Opera 5 user for Harlow | Hotel | Ticked, with the user name noted |
| Dedicated Windows workstation | Hotel | Ticked |
| Outbound HTTPS/WSS allowed | Hotel | Ticked; the connector's first check-in confirms it |
| Connector paired and online | Harlow | The connector has checked in within the last five minutes |
| Opera launch URL and credential stored | Harlow | Set under Integrations; the credential's reference is stored, never its value |
| Opera probe green | Harlow | Harlow signs in with the Opera user and reads a test reservation |
| Timezone and room roster set | Harlow | Both present under Integrations |
| Night-audit window set | Harlow | Present |
| Staff accounts and IT alert email | Harlow | At least one desk or housekeeping account, and an alert email for IT |
| End-to-end check with Harlow | Hotel | Ticked when one badge request landed in Opera as a trace while IT watched |
| Live writes | Harlow | Flipped together once the first live writes are checked with the hotel |
Health
After setup, the Health tab keeps watching the same things: connector presence, the Opera probe, and the time each system took. If a probe fails, the IT alert email gets a message with recovery guidance. The message never contains a password or guest content.
